A downloadable tool for Windows, macOS, and Linux

I built this tool based on the data from u/paleclaw's flower genetics guide. Note that to indicate 00-01-11 or rrYyWW genes, I print 0%1 instead. I just found this an easier notation to read at a glance when handwritten.

You can put in the colours of two parent flowers and a child flower, and it will present a list of possible genes for each flower! This is probably only a useful tool if you've read the genetics guide and understand how the genes work.

... If you don't understand the genetics but want to play around anyway, keep this simple example in mind: If you look at two red tulip parents with a * (wildcard) child, you'll see that a purple tulip is possible. It is important to note that this does not mean you can put any two red tulips together and produce a purple child. It means only that it is possible for two red tulips of some valid (but not necessarily common) genetic makeup to produce a purple child together.
